The aim of the project was to transform the spaces of the old cellar into modern offices for the REIRE company. This large volume, characterised by a wooden roof with trusses, was redesigned to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of a contemporary working environment.
Inside this space, a metal structure was inserted to create a large mezzanine, effectively doubling the available space and allowing the creation of two distinct floors. This intervention maximised the use of space, maintaining the open and airy character of the original environment.
The choice of materials played a crucial role in defining the aesthetics and functionality of the offices. Carpeted floors contribute to a welcoming environment and reduce environmental noise. Rock wool false ceilings improve acoustics in the work areas. Sound-absorbing walls were installed to ensure acoustic privacy, while closed volumes with glass windows create bright and transparent spaces, while maintaining separation
The lighting was designed with specific optics for the workstations, creating optimal lighting for productivity. The resin walls add a touch of modernity and elegance, ensuring an easy-to-clean and resistant surface.
The metal structure was connected to the old office building via a walkway that flies over the new volumes of the meeting rooms, creating a functional and visually appealing connection between the different areas.
The intervention included an energy requalification of the space, with the application of an internal coat for the walls and the roof. New efficient systems were installed, equipped with air exchange systems, to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment.
The design approach has enhanced the existing wooden trusses, harmoniously integrating them with modern elements, to create an office that combines tradition and innovation in a stimulating and functional environment
