The new OBF business center, located in Fogliano di Reggio Emilia and an extension of the former Officine Braglia warehouses, is a tertiary building designed in collaboration with Studio Andrea Oliva Architetto. This project stands out for its innovative and multifunctional design, intended to accommodate commercial activities and offices.
The building is covered with a dark-colored plastered facade, giving a monolithic effect to the structure, particularly pronounced on the north facade. This bold design creates an elegant contrast with the ground floor, which is completely glazed, allowing the visual effect of the upper floors "floating" on a glass ribbon
On the ground floor, the space is dedicated to commercial activities, with large windows that attract visitors and customers, transforming the area into a lively shopping center. The first and second floors are dedicated to offices, designed to optimize productivity and well-being with flexible and bright environments. These spaces are customizable and include both collaborative and individual areas, supported by advanced technologies for connectivity and resource management.
The building is designed to be energy efficient, with latest-generation air conditioning systems, LED lighting and a photovoltaic system that support environmental sustainability. Green spaces are integrated through internal patios, which offer places to relax and socialize, improving the well-being of the occupants and creating a more pleasant work environment.
The collaboration between Studio Andrea Oliva Architetto and Studio GMRT Associati has allowed the creation of a project that combines functionality, design and sustainability, redefining the area of the Ex Officine Braglia as a cutting-edge commercial and management center.
