The project aimed to restore a charming historic village located along the Secchia river, in the municipality of Baiso (RE). The intervention enhanced and redeveloped the existing buildings, preserving the architectural heritage. The renovation involved the three-level manor house, the attic, the former barn and the stable, bringing to light the historic beauty of the village.
Furthermore, the project integrated sustainable practices, using local materials and eco-friendly construction techniques. This intervention was carried out to ensure a quality living environment, aimed exclusively at residents and those who wish to live in an environment characterized by history and nature
The intervention involved an in-depth analysis of the existing buildings and renovation works that included the restoration of the stone facades, the recovery of the interior spaces and the creation of common areas. The results brought the village back to its original glory, creating a welcoming and quality environment for those who live there.
The project was completed in 2009 and involved architects, engineers and designers. In conclusion, "Borgo in sasso sul fiume" represents an important opportunity to revitalize the historical heritage, helping to improve the quality of life of residents and preserve the local culture
