Renovation Project
The project transformed a building historically dedicated to carpentry on the ground floor and two apartments on the upper floor into a single residential villa of approximately 600 square meters. This project aimed to preserve the historical identity of the property, while inside it was aimed at creating modern and functional spaces with high-quality finishes. A significant seismic improvement was also carried out, which included the adoption of advanced techniques to ensure the structural stability of the building and its resistance to seismic events.
Reorganization of Spaces
The renovation made possible a large open plan, with an internal courtyard that was brought from the first floor to the ground floor. This solution allowed for natural lighting of the interior spaces, creating bright and welcoming environments. The division of the spaces includes a living area on the ground floor, ideal for socializing and relaxing, while the sleeping area on the upper floor offers privacy and tranquility.
Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
The project included a significant energy requalification, with the installation of low-consumption systems and a roof partially covered by photovoltaic panels. Thanks to these choices, the building achieved a significantly reduced level of energy consumption, making it not only sustainable but also economically advantageous for future inhabitants.
This redevelopment has enhanced a historic property and created a modern and sustainable home, perfect for contemporary living needs. It is an ideal balance between history, design and innovation.
