We are pleased to share the publication of one of our most recent projects in the architecture magazine LegnoArchitettura, issue 55! An excerpt from the article follows.

Built with a timber-frame structure, Villa PF was designed according to bioclimatic principles. The strategic layout of the rooms also optimizes the use of natural light and solar heat. The common areas are oriented south to maximize exposure to the sun, contributing to natural thermal comfort year-round. The bedrooms, however, face east.

Internally, the house is divided into three distinct volumes: the living area, the sleeping area, positioned on a slight slope, and a central volume clad in stone. This creates a harmonious continuity between the interior and exterior spaces. The large south-facing porch provides a shaded area perfect for enjoying the outdoor spaces in any season.
The home's rooms are spacious and bright, thanks to large windows offering views of the outdoors. The living area is designed to encourage socializing, featuring a welcoming lounge area and a modern open-plan kitchen.
